At the foot of the Black Mountains between Crickhowell and Brecon is the award winning Nantyffin Cider Mill Inn.
Literally translated as 'the Brook by the border' The Nantyffin was originally a drovers inn dating back to the 16th century. Well known for its production of cider during the 19th century - The Nantyffin is now recognised as one of the great food destinations in Wales.
It has been renowned for over 10 years for its successful combination of the traditional values of great British pubs with the classic style of the bistros of rural France.
Though there is room to eat in the bar, the team at the Nantyffin, have also considerably converted the old apple store to accommodate the ever-growing number of diners that want to indulge in the menu.
